I've been creating art in one form or another about all my life.
After graduating from the Colorado Institute of Art, I went to work for a card company, creating greeting cards, some of which can be seen on the illustration pages of this site. Since then, my illustrations have been used in newspapers, magazines, books, and calendars.

One of my favorite media is papier mache, which I have transformed from "craft" to "art" in my studio, where I work and teach. While I create life-sized characters, I also create wall hangings, masks, and foliage because, as my mother said, "those life-size people just take too long to dry."
